We source Kernza® Perennial Grain from the city of Edgerton, MN, where Kernza is planted around the city’s drinking water wells. Since planting, they've seen a 40% reduction in nitrate pollution of their water. The world’s first commercially viable perennial grain, Kernza grows for multiple years and establishes a deep root system that builds soil, prevents water pollution, sequesters carbon, and produces a delicious, healthy grain.
Our Organic Farro comes from Janie’s Mill in Illinois, an organic farm and flour mill producing a wide variety of grains and flours.
The Wild Rice is from Red Lake Nation Foods, a Native American-owned company in Redby, MN, that grows cultivated wild rice.
