We source Chandler walnuts from Old Dog Ranch, a fifth-generation family farm on the Calaveras River in California’s San Joaquin Valley. Chandlers are prized for their buttery flavor, golden color, and easy-to-crack shells. They’re also a resilient tree variety—leafing and flowering later than others, making them naturally resistant to frost damage and blight.
